Meditation is a useful method of becoming present.
Becoming more aware of our moment to moment experience can be helpful in seeing how we respond to the world around us, our beliefs about ourselves and others, and how we act in accordance with these beliefs and stories.
Bringing our ways of seeing and acting into focus through the practice of meditation can be beneficial to psychotherapy.
Becoming aware is the first step in the change process. Bringing what is unconscious into conscious awareness is key.
Zazen is the type of meditation I teach.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a modality in facilitating clients to access, through the use of ketamine, a non ordinary state of consciousness where the innate wisdom of the individual can be safely accessed.
With the support and guidance of a trained KAP therapist, the client has the opportunity to gain a perspective that is not easily accessible in day to day life.
KAP involves preparation sessions, a ketamine-assisted session using the medication, and follow up integration sessions.

Person Centered Therapy is an optimistic approach, and sees human beings as fluid, and able to change.
Within the therapeutic relationship, that is emotionally and psychologically safe, characterized by warmth, acceptance, authenticity and empathy, you will be able to explore your life from the present moment which will empower you to meet life's challenges, and grow in power and freedom.
